About Me
Hello, I'm Mica and I run my small jewellery brand from my home studio in Emsworth with the help of my wire fox terrier Reg.
I create unique printed & gold jewellery inspired by my ever growing house plant collection and my love of the beautiful natural world, combined with modern & stylised shapes. Founded in 2013 after graduating from university with a degree in Fashion Textiles, I combined my love of print design, illustration & jewellery to create a unique collection of affordable yet beautifully crafted designs.
You can now find my products in many lovely little shops across the world, including the Tate Modern & The National Gallery in London.
My Creative Process
HANDPAINTED
All my designs start off as my original watercolour illustrations, which I then scan into photoshop ready for laser cutting.
INSPIRED BY NATURE
My inspiration comes from my love of plants, gardening and bird watching.
SUSTAINABLE MATERIALS
The wooden pieces are created using digitally printed sustainably sourced plywood in Wales and the metal pieces are laser cut using sheet brass which are then plated using gold and silver plated finishes in the UK.
Every Order is packed by me
These are then hand assembled and packaged by myself from my home studio in Emsworth.
